  • Economy Shipping- Economy shipping means two to thirty days delivery from when the item is actually shipped and NOT two to thirty days from when the item is ordered, but cannot be guaranteed.  Please note it can take one to two business days to process an in stock order before it ships.  Most commonly USPS Media Mail and Parcel Post are used for this method, although we may send by another carrier at our discretion.  Economy Shipping is free on orders totaling $40.00 or more.
  • Priority Shipping -Priority shipping means two to three day delivery from when the item is actually shipped and NOT two to three days from when the item is ordered, but cannot be guaranteed. Priority Shipping is sent via USPS Priority Mail.
  •  The String Project will only ship addresses in the United States. We are unable to ship internationally at this time.
  • Buyer assumes all shipping costs, to be paid at time of purchase.
  • In stock items are usually shipped by 5:00 PM Central time on the next business day.
  • Credit card payments are not processed until the time we ship your order.
  • Shipping costs will not be refunded for returns. The buyer must assume all shipping costs when returning an item.
  • In-Store Pickups-Please call ahead to make sure that your item is at the store before coming to pick it up. Be prepared to present identification and the purchasing credit card during pickup.
  • Unexpected Changes in Availability- Occasionally we are notified by suppliers after an order is made that certain products are not yet released, delayed, or discontinued. We will inform you by E-mail or on the invoice with your package if any products are cancelled or delayed.

    If a product in your order is temporarily unavailable, that product is automatically delayed for later shipment, with the remaining products shipped on schedule. Credit card orders will not be charged for the delayed product until that product is shipped. There is no extra shipping charge for additional shipments due to delays.

    If a product in your order is no longer available, that product is automatically cancelled, with the remaining products shipped on schedule. Credit cards will only be charged for shipped products and shipping charges will be reduced if a cancellation makes this appropriate.
NOTE: The String Project reserves the right to hold, delay, or cancel any order that it feels may be fraudulant. To resolve such cases additional information may be requested from the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to prove their identity. The best way for customers to avoid triggering a potential fraud hold on their order is to make sure that their shipping name and address matches their billing name and address when placing the order.
